E-M:/ Jennifer Grandholm, the Supreme Court and Clean Air Standards

Enviro-Mich message from "Alex J. Sagady & Associates" <ajs@sagady.com>

Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has accepted the EPA
national air quality standards case..... see this editorial...

..... it is time for her to bow out of this case if she wants to
maintain her environmental credentials and credibility. Otherwise she
is doing the direct bidding of anti-public health initiatives
of Engler/Harding and the whole cabal of the extreme

Does Jennifer Grandholm really take the position that
complex federal rulemaking like the national ambient air quality
standard regulations ought to be decided by Congress
and not federal regulatory agencies?

Does Jennifer Grandholm really want to represent the people
of the state of Michigan by trying to trash public health
standards designed to protect their health??

Grandholm should let Engler/Harding hire one of their campaign contributor
buddies like the Honigman firm to argue the case and
kiss off this involvement of her being on the wrong side of
one of the most important supreme court cases on
environmental protection in recent memory.

What about it, Jennifer??? How about a news conference to
announce you'll bow out of the case??
