This refers only to the sales tax on gasoline--not the traditional "gas tax"
which is much higher. Engler raised the gas tax by 5 cents, so Michigan's
share of the total taxes is relatively high. Can anyone provide an accurate
breakdown of the total taxes paid on a gallon of gasoline? And does the
sales tax on gas go to roads...or does that portion go to the general fund?
