Re: E-M:/ High Gasoline Prices?

On a recent drive from Florida to Michigan, it was interesting to note that
Michigan's gas prices were 20-30 cents higher than most states, except for
Florida. The biggest shock of all, however, is returning to Michigan and
driving the roads. For the entire trip, one doesn't really notice the roads
because they are all in fine condition. As soon as we crossed the state
line, my car and all the occupants knew immediately that we were back in
Michigan. So, where do all the gas taxes go? The deterioration of our
highways over the past decade is obvious.
