It's not to late to do a Tour de Sprawl!!!
Come Join the Central Michigan Sierra Club for the Best Bike Tour EVER!

Star studded line-up of guest speakers:
"Root Causes of Sprawl" with Dave Dempsey from Michigan Environmental
"New Urbanism" with Dr. John Metzger from MSU's Department of Geography
"Activism and Land Use" with Holly Madhill

The Central Michigan Sierra Club announces the 2nd Annual Tour de
This family-fun/environmental-education bicycle tour includes a 16 mile,
multi-stop route through Meridian Township.
See and learn about smart growth, the causes of urban sprawl and what we
can all do to stop sprawl.
Join us for post-ride food, beverages, door-prizes and music!
Bus transport will be provided for those who do not wish to cycle. There
is a small registration fee and helmets are required for bikers.
WHEN: Sunday, October 8th, 2000, 9:30 A.M.
WHERE: Beginning/ending at the Farmer’s Market behind Meridian Township
Hall off Central Park or Marsh Road.
