Questionnaire for the weighting factors in the environmental impact
assessment for PCB manufacturing process

Introduction:
I am a Year 3 student of Manufacturing Engineering and engineering
Management Department in City University of Hong Kong. A final year 
project
with a title !¡±Environmental Impact Scoring System!¡L is being carried 
out.
You are sincerely invited to participate this project by completing 
this
questionnaire.

The aim of this questionnaire is to investigate the weighting factors of 
the
impacts categories: Global Warming Potential (GWP), Ozone Depletion
Potential (ODP), Photochemical Ozone Creation Potential (POCP),
Acidification Potential (AP), Nutrient Enrichment (NEP), Toxicogenic
Potential (TP) and Carcinogenic Potential (CP) for PCB manufacturing
process. To do this, weighting factors of the above impact categories in 
a
particular PCB making process is wanted. In another word, is to know 
the
relative impact seriousness of different impact categories.
Instruction:

Example:
In process A, 7 weighting factors are needed to evaluate the 
environment
impact of the seven ecological categories (GWP, ODP, POCP, AP, NEP, TP, 
CP).
The weighting factors for the  GWP, ODP, POCP, AP, NEP, TP and CP 
impact
categories are defined as wGWP, wODP, wPOCP, wAP, wNEP, wTP and wCP
respectively. The weighting factor for each impact category is valued
between 0 and 1, and the sum of the weighing factors is equal to 1.
i.e. wGWP + wODP + wPOCP + wAP + wNEP  +wTP  +wCP =1
The weighting factor are represented in the range from very low to very
strong (serious) as
0.1 =very low   0.3 =low  0.5 =fair  0.7 =strong   0.9 =very strong
(serious) and, 0. 2, 0.4, 0.6 0.8 =Intermediate values
Notice that wGWP + wODP + wPOCP + wAP + wNEP  +wTP  +wCP =1
Ans:0.1, 0, 0.2, 0, 0, 0.3, 0.4 (where the numbers are wGWP, wODP, 
wPOCP,
wAP, wNEP, wTP and wCP respectively)
