Today's Detroit News has an article about changing fortunes in
the U.S. Senate race between environmentalist Debbie Stabenow
and Federalist Society Founding Member Spencer Abraham. They are
now in a statistical dead heat according to the most recent
polls by the Detroit News. According to
Bill Ballenger, editor of Inside Michigan Politics, Abraham is
"collapsing like a tower of Jell-O."

For those who are initiated, the Federalist Society is a group
dedicated to rolling back as allegedly unconstitutional federal
laws relating to environmental protection, civil rights, labor
protections, etc. and getting judges appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court
to take these positions.
