Enviro-Mich message from "Dave Dempsey" <davemec@voyager.net>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're registered for the New York Times, or want to struggle through
snowdrifts to buy it at a bookstore, you may want to read a Monday editorial
that begins:

President-elect George W. Bush should appoint candidates with strong
environmental records to places like the Interior Department and the
regulatory agencies, instead of partisans with weak records.

It's at:

http://www.nytimes.com/2000/12/18/opinion/18MON1.html

The editorial focuses on Interior, but mentions EPA. Michiganians may want
to educate the Times on our DEQ Director's record through letters to the
editor.
