Responsibilities include: preparation/implementation of management
plan for nature preserves; site conservation planning for targeted areas
along Lake Michigan shoreline; and support to land
protection projects such as baseline documentation and evaluation of
potential land
or easement acquisitions.
Requirements: Graduate degree in field biology/ecology/natural
resource management or bachelor’s in same with minimum of three years experience.
Knowledge of terrestrial and
freshwater ecosystems of Great Lakes region.
Salary commensurate with experience.
The Land Conservancy serves six counties in central West Michigan with
an
office in Grand Rapids.
