E-M:/ Kellogg's People and Land Program has funding available

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has released a request for proposals to it's People and Land program.  PAL's mission is to enable people in Michigan to live in diverse, healthy communities that are environmentally sustainable, economically viable, and socially equitable.  A total of $624,000 is currently available, from which PAL intends to fund 510 projects. While there is no set funding limit for individual projects, prospective grantees should develop realistic budgets knowing that multiple grants will be given from this funding pool. PAL projects must be completed no later than September 30, 2002. Projects cannot expect funding beyond this period; however, there is the possibility that additional PAL funding might become available at a future date.
The application deadline is 5:00 p.m., May 25, 2001.  For more information, contact the project administrators at Public Sector Consultants, Inc. or visit the PAL website:
