I didnt post this information--Alex Sagady did.  I did not have anything to 
do with misinformation.  Check your facts.  Also, read the May 1 Detroit news 
for the facts on Oakland County air.  Read The Dying Of The Trees if you 
would like to know more about the frying of the trees.

Although Benzie County received a failing grade by the American Lung

Association's "State of the Air: 2001" report for number of days with high

ozone concentrations in unhealthy ranges (by US EPA's Air Quality Index)

during the years 1997-1999, they were not one of the worst counties in the

nation plagued by high ozone concentrations nor were they in "violation" of

the new health-based 8-hour ozone standard which has not been implemented by

the EPA to date.  However, Berrien County was one of the worst 25 in the

nation for number of smog days in unhealthy ranges - 42 total days in

unhealthy ranges between 1997-1999. Please check your facts before sending

out this kind of misinformation.
