Public Citizen's "Radioactive Roads and Rails" campaign  is coming to =

Join us at workshops in Lansing and Detroit:


The U.S. Department of Energy is expected to recommend that a nuclear =
repository be developed at Yucca Mountain, Nevada, for high-level =
radioactive waste from atomic power plants and DOE weapons facilities.  =
This interactive workshop will address issues of concern including:
=B7 Problems with the proposed nuclear dump site at Yucca Mountain
=B7 Problems with the proposed transport of high-level nuclear waste =
through Michigan
- Health and safety risks
=B7 Environmental sustainability
- Energy policy options
