A notice from Sen. Ken Sikkema has come out about a series of field hearings
the Senate Great Lakes Conservation Task Force will hold in the coming
months.  The purpose of the hearings is "to gather testimony and compile a
report on the overall condition of the Great Lakes and tributaries".

Hearings are scheduled as below:

Sept 13, Thurs., 6-8 p.m., Northwestern MI College, 1701 E. Front Street,
TRAVERSE CITY, MI  49684-3061, University  Center Campus, Dendrinos Drive
(off of Cass)

Sept. 20, Thurs., 6-8 p.m, Buoy Restaurant, 530 W. Third, ROGERS CITY

Oct 1, Monday, 6-8 p.m., Monroe Community College, 1555 Raisinville Rd.,
MONROE, Admin Building, Dining Hall

Oct 8, Monday, 6-8 p.m., MACOMB COUNTY, to be determined where

Oct 18, Thursday, 6-8 p.m., MARQUETTE, to be determined

Oct 30, Tues, 6-8 p.m., City of PORT HURON, Municipal Office Center, 100
McMorran Blvd.

Nov 5, Monday, 6-8 p.m., ST JOSEPH, to be determined

Nov. 26, Monday, 6-8 pm, Saginaw Valley State Univ., 2250 Pierce Rd.,
