I live south of Milan and we have had an eagle nesting within a mile of here
for many years.  I have seen it twice in the last 3 years but other
neighbors have seen it more often.

There are thousands of acres of farmland around here so either the farmers
don't use strong pesticides or the eagle has become immune or he's just a
tough old bird :)
