Greetings to Enviro-Mich:
Responsible environmentalism is the message of this years keynote speaker Bruce Vincent, who will be speaking to the delegation at the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts Annual Meeting on December 12, 2001, at the Holiday Inn South in Lansing.
Bruce Vincent is a third generation logger from Libby, Montana who helped form and is currently serving as President of Communities For A Great Northwest, a non-profit education and information group dedicated to the intelligent use of our natural resources.
Bruce speaks throughout the U.S. and the world, has testified on resource issues before Congress, and has appeared on several news programs including "60 Minutes."
His keynote presentation, "With Vision There is Hope", focuses on the American environmental movement, which according to Bruce, was timely and necessary - but is thirty years old and has failed to mature beyond a three word vision of "Stop Doing That". Bruce believes that America is ready for those of us who live in, work in, play in and love the environment that is so hotly debated, to share with them a new version of millennium conservation.
We would like to extend an invitation to the many conservationists in Michigan to join us for this world renowned presentation.
