Hi Alex-
Can you post this on Enviro-Mich and anywhere you see fit?
Many thanks,
Maria Lapinski-LaFaive

Attention all people who live and BREATHE in the City of Lansing and
General Motors (GM) has applied for a permit to emit 375 Tons per year
of Volatile Organic Compounds (that is, TOXINS) from the Craft Center
Plant (2801 West Saginaw) in the Westside neighborhood in Lansing. This
is in addition to what they are ALREADY emitting from the adjacent
Lansing Car Assembly Plant. This means more bad smells and more toxic
air showering our homes and schools.

What can you do?

The Department of Environmental Quality/Air Quality Division is holding
a public hearing about this permit. It is a chance for you, as a
resident of the city who likes to breathe (this should include
everyone), to voice your opinion. Come ready to speak or show your
support to those who speak out against this permit.

WHEN? Tuesday, January 22nd at 7 p.m.

WHERE? Sexton High School Cafeteria, West Michigan Ave. in Lansing

the expense of citizen health!!
