E-M:/ the dioxin coverup

Enviro-Mich message from "Dave Dempsey" <davemec@voyager.net>

Michigan citizens interested in seeing how state agencies deal with
information about health risks associated with dioxin in Midland can see a
vivid illustration on the MEC web site.

Go to this link:

http://www.mecprotects.org/pr1_22_02.html

Read the press release and click where it says, "Photos." You'll see the
documents MEC received in response to a Freedom of Information Act request
last week. It looks more like something from the CIA or FBI files. All
conclusions and recommendations are deleted in an effort to keep the public
in the dark. The Ecology Center and Midland area concerned citizens have
joined MEC in calling for a release of the data and an open public
discussion about appropriate policy to protect human health.
