Enviro-Mich message from Darryl Braun <darrylrich@yahoo.com>

C.U.F.A. (Citizens United for Action), the grassroots
organization fighting to save one of the last
remaining wetlands in Inkster sadly reports that the
12 acre site has fallen victim to the devouring
machinery of the callous developer.

The site was hurriedly massacred on St. Valentines
Day, just as the organization's attorney was filing a
MEPA suit against the MDEQ and the developer, while
simultaneously appealing for a temporary restraining
order to forestall the clearcutting. Unfortunately,
the developer had somehow been tipped off to
C.U.F.A.'s action and beat us to the punch. The site
resembles that of a forest destroyed by a nuclear

C.U.F.A., its consultant and its attorney refuse to
accede to heinous intimidation actions of those with
such contempt for our beautiful natural resources, and
will press on with the litigation. Any support from
fellow enviros is much appreciated. Please contact me
for more information at darrylrich@yahoo.com.
