AUDIT STANDARD FOR OIL AND GAS LEASING PROGRAM: The Department has
developed an audit standard for oil and gas leases, which defines
post-production cost deductions. It was presented for information only
in January and February 2002, and will be presented for final approval

SEALED BID LEASE AUCTION: Nonmetallic lease rights for Construction
Sand, Gravel, Cobbles, Boulders and Clay to 257.19 acres of state-owned
minerals located in Baraga County is proposed to be offered under a
sealed bid lease auction. Lease will be for seven years, with an
additional three-year option, if in the best interest of the state.
Bonus bids to be determined by sealed bid, in whole cent amounts.

DIRECT OIL AND GAS LEASE - NONDEVELOPMENT: Oil and gas lease rights to
