E-M:/ Beard School Developments

Dear Friends in the Metro Detroit area. The information that follows is about
the Beard elementary school in Detroit that was built on top of a
contaminated site. The environmentalists sought an injunction to stop the
board from opening the school until it was certain that there was no danger,
but we lost at that level. The judge allowed the school to open last fall
while remediation continued. The defendants are the School Board and
associates. We ask everyone who has the time to come and show support for
this community.
