Holding Dow Chemical Accountable

An Evening with Survivors of the Bhopal Disaster

Thursday May 8, 2002
7 PM, Kuenzel Room at Michigan Union
University of Michigan

In December 1984, deadly gases leaked from Union Carbide's plant in
Bhopal, India, KILLING over 8,000 people immediately. Over 20,000
have died since. More than 30 people continue to die every month as
a result of the gas exposure.
Toxic waste left behind at the site has contaminated the drinking
water of the community. Carbide's poisons are now showing up in
mother's milk.

The tour is a project of Action Against Corporate Crime and Toxic
Terror (AaCcTt), a coalition of Bhopal based survivor groups,
national and international allies. For information, visit
