This is really interesting reading....For the first time
this report also deals separately with persistent and
bioaccumulative toxicants....

Those Wayne Disposal guys are really showing up to be
a major throughput site for poly chlorinated biphenyls...

285 lbs/year of PCB air pollution with 142,000 lbs of
PCBs disposed of in landfills.

Michigan air dischargers released 3138 lbs of mercury compounds to
the air.

Michigan imported into our state for disposal 128,228 lbs
of carcinogenic poly cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and
27,951 lbs of mercury compounds.

The largest single air discharger of toxicants was the
Detroit Edison Monroe Power Plant.

The largest single total discharger of persistent and
bioaccumulative chemical compounds was National Steel
on Zug Island followed by Honeywell, also next
to zug island.
