This message is a reminder that the St. Joe River Watershed
Conference will be held on June 10 & 11 at the Century Center in
South Bend, IN.  Speaker topics and online registration may be found
at www.wmich.edu/watershedinfo  The registration deadline is Monday,
June 3rd.

Dave Dempsey of the MEC will be the keynote speaker at dinner on
June 10.  A reception/display event will be held before dinner from
5p-6:30p.  Representative will be there from MDEQ, Triad Engineering
& City of Goshen Wastewater Treatment, WMU, Michiana Watershed, DLZ,
student projects, Hoosier Environmental Council, Conservation
Districts, US Army Corps of Enginners, Great Lakes Commission,
Friends of the St. Joe River, Kalamazoo County, and more.  Please
register your group for participation in the conference (and
reception/display event) if interested.  

Key topics covered during the conference sessions will be pollution
control projects, geology of the watershed, ground water and surface
water studies, Lake Michigan impacts, agriculture and pesticide use,
new science methods, watershed planning, public health, sediment
transport and more.

The conference registration fee is $50 and includes dinner and

NOTE:  This conference is about the St. Joe River that flows
westward from Hillsdale, through Michigan and Indiana, and enters
Lake Michigan at St. Joe/Berrien County (there is more than one St.
Joe River).  Thanks.
