All,
     The year 2000 TRI report of a surface water discharge of 473 pounds of 
mercury from Lansing Board of Water and Light Eckert/Moores Park facility 
is in error.  Recent analysis shows a non-detect for mercury at 0.20 ug/L 
not only at the influent to all facilities, but also at every outfall for 
every facility; a zero pound discharge.

788   Detroit Edison Monroe Power Plant
406     Consumers Energy JH. Campbell plant, West Olive
372     National Steel, Great Lakes Division, Ecorse
330     Det Edison Belle River Plant, St. Clair County
327     Southdown Cement, Charlevoix
300     Cons Energy Karn Weadock plant, Bay City
250     Detroit Edison, St. Clair power plant, St. Clair County
169     Det Edison Trenton Channel power plant
120     Cons Energy Whiting plant, Erie
98      Lansing Board of Water and Light

Other mercury information....

Michigan State University made no report of mercury or
mercury compound emissions from its coal fired power plant
(don't know if they are claiming SIC code non-applicability).

Lansing Board of Water and Light Eckert Moores Park
power plant in Lansing reported a whopping 473 lbs of
mercury release to surface waters in year 2000, the
state's highest by far [could it be an error??]

Wayne Disposal near Ypsilanti landfilled a whopping
12,454 lbs of combined mercury/mercury compounds, but
reported absolutely no mercury emissions.
