MDEQ Air Quality Division meteorologists have
now declared Monday as Ozone Action Days in
Western and Southeastern Michigan, in addition to Sunday.

 From 11 AM to 1 PM, Sunday, measured 1 hour ozone concentrations
show are showing rapid rise at a number of locations.

The following stations are showing ozone at or over
80 ppb 1 hr average as of 1 PM:

Holland
Jenison
Grand Rapids
Evans (NW of Grand Rapids)
Muskegon
Kalamazoo
Coloma

Lansing
Rose Lake (clinton county)

Tecumseh
Ypsilanti
Allen Park
Oak Park
Detroit - Linwood
Detroit - E 7 Mile
Warren
Flint

At this hour, the most ozone polluted place
in Michigan is the inner city Detroit-Linwood site
at 98 ppb - 1 hr average
