To Give “Urban Defender” Awards

 

Sierra Club Celebrates the Opening of its Detroit Office

           

 

On Thursday, June 27^th at 6pm the Detroit Sierra Club Environmental Justice Program will give four “Urban Defender” Awards to members of the community who are fighting for clean, safe and healthy neighborhoods.  The award ceremony will be part of an open house celebrating the Sierra Club’s new Detroit offices which house the Environmental Justice Program and state Chapter and Southeast Michigan Group activities.  The public is invited.  More information:  David Holtz 313-965-0055.
