E-M:/ Yesterday's smog maximums

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enviro-Mich message from "Alex J. Sagady & Associates" <ajs@sagady.com>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Port Huron and Harbor Beach (in the thumb) take
the honors for the most polluted places in Michigan
Yesterday.

Here's the maximum 8 hour averages for stations at
or over 85 ppb yesterday:

Port Huron 114 ppb
Harbor Beach 100
Flint 90
Otisville 97
New Haven 92
Benzonia 85

Benzonia has had some unusual readings with
ozone never getting below about 70 ppb for an
entire 24 hour period, and high values up to
92 ppb at 4 AM. Don't know if this is
monitor malfunction with zero drift....

Port Huron had 3 hours over the old health
standard of 125 ppb, 1 hr average, with a
high of 140 ppb.
