Enviro-Mich message from "Alex J. Sagady & Associates" <ajs@sagady.com>

Today is not an ozone action day and a frontal passage
looms from the Northwest, but at 3 PM today there is
first indication of elevated ozone concentrations of note in
Southeastern Michigan.

At 3 PM, the following stations are showing 1 hour averages of:

Port Huron  114 ppb
New Haven  105
Warren          93
Oak Park        92
Detroit - Linwood 90

I don't know when the cold front will move through
SE Michigan, so it is possible that some extended high
8 hour averages might yet occur today.

Also, in West Michigan, sudden increases at 3pm of
note are:

Holland  109
Coloma  107

Kalamazoo and Lansing are in the high 80s, but increasing
cloud conditions will probably limit further higher ozone
concentrations.
