Dear ALEXANDER J SAGADY  JR,

This Tuesday, Vote YES on 2 for Michigan's parks, lakes
and wildlife
Proposal 2 provides more funding for:

*       Outdoor recreation
*       Conservation
*       Local parks
*       Michigan's State Park System
*       Emergency Needs for Veterans

PROPOSAL 2 IMPROVES THE WAY OUR STATE'S PERMANENT AND
ENDOWMENT FUNDS ARE INVESTED.
On Aug. 6th, voters can allow the following funds to
be invested as provided by law:

* MI Natural Resources Trust Fund
* MI State Parks Endowment Fund
*       Veterans Trust Fund
* Game and Fish Protection Fund
* Nongame Fish and Wildlife Fund
* MI Civilian Conservation Corps Endowment Fund

Proposal 2 DOES NOT RAISE TAXES and increases the amount
of money available for important projects undertaken
by these funds.

PROPOSAL 2 INCREASES ALLOWED SPENDING FOR STATE PARKS,
LOCAL PARKS AND OUTDOOR RECREATION
* Increases the cap on Natural Resources Trust Fund
from $400 to $500 million
* Continues annual expenditures of up to 33 1/3% of
Trust Fund royalties
* Allows State Parks Endowment Fund spending to include
interest and earnings & up to 50% of the funds received
from Trust Fund

OVER $540 MILLION HAS BEEN SPENT ON 1,290 PROJECTS
IN EVERY COUNTY
Without Proposal 2, funding from the Natural Resources
Trust Fund will be reduced by $15 million. That means
millions less for recreational projects and the purchase
of environmentally sensitive lands. That's why Proposal
2 has no opposition.

Help us get out the vote, and encourage others to VOTE
YES ON 2 ON AUGUST 6TH!
