E-M:/ citizens to state: keep dow's out of dioxin investigation

Enviro-Mich message from "Dave Dempsey" <davemec@voyager.net>

Residents can expect more testing and more controversy as a dioxin debate
continues in Saginaw and Midland counties.

Nearly 200 residents -- including more than a dozen elected officials or
candidates for office -- were in the audience at Freeland High School on
Thursday for a three-hour question-and-answer session with state health and
environmental experts.

"I'm disgusted with the demands that Dow Chemical is putting on the
Department of Community Health," said Saginaw resident Sally Rogalski.
