Next door to Michigan, in Ohio, a judge finds that swine operations
constitute a nuisance, making a distinction that would be consistent with
the original intent of the Right to Farm Act of Michigan, it seems, without
running over the lives and property values of the neighbors.  AW

Area hog farms ruled nuisance

ALBION - A judge ruled two hog confinements in Boone County and two more in
nearby Nance County are a nuisance but gave the defendants a year to reduce
the offensive odors.
