E-M:/ Rally in Detroit tomorrow for cleaner cars!

Those who live in the Detroit area have a great opportunity to make a big difference by giving about two hours of their time tomorrow morning ....

Below is the info on a unique and important rally being held at the Marriott hotel of
the Ren Cen tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. Some national religious leaders,
(Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish) are coming to Detroit to challenge the
Big 3 to make more fuel-efficient cars. The message is that the increased demand for Middle Eastern oil is fueling war AND choking up the atmosphere with too much carbon dioxide, causing Earth to warm up (global warming). Some IHM nuns will be there, driving their Toyota Prius'; the press will be there too (*national* and local press) All we need now is you--some people of faith that show your care by your presence. Please try to come!
Thank You!

P.S. FREE parking at Christ Church Detroit (Episcopal) just east of the Ren Cen. on E. Jefferson. After you park your car, you can walk down the street--watch for the "Ren Cen pedestrians" signs to get around the construction in the front. The Marriott is on the west side of the RenCen.

Ever heard the one about the pastor, the priest, the rabbi and the Prius? You will soon.

National religious leaders are coming to Detroit Wednesday, Nov. 20, to launch a campaign for cleaner cars. Nuns will drive Catholic, Jewish, Christian and Evangelical leaders around Detroit for a rally, press conference, and meetings with the big three automakers.
