Any clue as to whether they have or will ever have these wetland inventory maps for Kent County?  I know a lot of people who would love to use them.

The Department of Environmental Quality has released preliminary wetland
inventory maps for Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Jackson, Hillsdale, Lenawee,
Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Saint Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne
Counties.

The purpose of the maps is to provide potential and approximate
locations of wetlands for informational and planning purposes. They do
not represent jurisdictional boundary determinations for purposes of
Part 303.

The maps can be viewed at:

The preliminary inventories can also be viewed at the Southeast Michigan
District Office, 38980 West Seven Mile Road, Livonia; Jackson District
Office, 301 East Louis Glick
Highway, Jackson; and at Constitution Hall, 525 West  Allegan Street,
Lansing, Michigan. Information Contact: Amy Lounds, Geological and Land

Public hearings will be held at the following locations:

PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PRELIMINARY  WETLAND INVENTORIES FOR
LIVINGSTON, MACOMB, MONROE, OAKLAND, ST. CLAIR, WASHTENAW, AND WAYNE
COUNTIES.

    NOVEMBER 25, 2002  6:00 p.m.  The Geological and Land Management
Division will hold a public hearing at the Chesterfield Township Hall,
47275 Sugarbush Road, Chesterfield, Michigan.

    NOVEMBER 26, 2002  6:00 P.M. - Scio Township Hall, 827 North Zeeb
Road, Ann Arbor,  Michigan.

PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PRELIMINARY WETLAND INVENTORIES FOR JACKSON,
HILLSDALE, AND LENAWEE COUNTIES.

    DECEMBER 2,  2002  6:00 P.M.  -  Rollin Township Hall, 730 Manitou
Road, Manitou Beach, Michigan.

    DECEMBER 10,  2002  6:00 P.M. - Henrietta Township Hall, 11732
Bunkerhill Road, Pleasant Lake, Michigan.
