Enviro-Mich message from "Alex J. Sagady & Associates" <ajs@sagady.com>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Michigan has 2 days to follow the lead of Pennsylvania in
filing an intervention against the George Bush relaxation of clean air
act rules for major modifications of major stationary sources.

The newly elected Democratic governor of Pennsylvania, Gov. Rendell,
just had that state join the 9 northwestern US states challenging
the rule in the DC Circuit Court of Appeals.

Michigan has 2 days to join the intervention to reverse the Bush
Administration rule.

Now that Jennifer Granholm holds the reins of power, will the
state be represented in that appeal in defense of the Clean Air
Act? Can Granholm get Attorney General Mike Cox to actually
file an environmental appeal?
