Storm Water and the Law

The Watershed Management Committee of the Michigan
Water Environment Association is presenting a one-day
seminar on legal issues related to implementation of
the EPA Storm Water Phase II Regulations in Michigan. 
 This seminar will provide critical information for
local government administrators, attorneys,
consultants, and public works managers.  Others
involved with Storm Water or Watershed Issues will
also find the seminar interesting and informative. 
Topics include a Regulatory Update, Ordinance
Drafting, Implementation of Storm Water Rules, the
Drain Code & Inter-jurisdictional Issues, Negotiating
Site Plans, Utilities and Fees, and Enforcement
Issues.  An Exhibit Area will be included for display
of products and services available to help implement
the federal program.  A reception will follow the
seminar to facilitate networking with other attendees.
 Pre-registration is $125 ($95 for MWEA members) and
continues until March 25.  A $25 surcharge is added
for late-registration.  Registration at the door will
be allowed only if space allows.  Registration
includes continental breakfast, breaks, lunch,
materials, and reception.  For more information
