                        Enjoy a guided sunset dune walk at Kitchel-Lindquist
Dunes Preserve in Ferrysburg on Saturday, May 31, 6:30-8:30 p.m..  Join Lake
Michigan Federation staff and Kitchel-Lindquist Dunes Preserve docent
volunteers.  Explore the preserve to discover its unique features and learn
about dune ecology.  Guests may choose from three different hikes:  Eco
Echoes for children or fun loving adults will include playful activities
along the trail to highlight ecological features; Touring the Trough will
allow the curious to discover adaptations of plants and animals to
microclimates of the interdunal pond, trough, and blowout area-birders will
find good viewing on this walk; and Close Up Viewing will allow guests to be
amazed at the intricacies of the world of plants both large and small and to
share information on photographing fascinating botanicals.  Refreshments and
cookies will be provided after the hike.  Bring binoculars, camera, and
water.  Participants should dress for the weather as no rain day is
