Enviro-Mich message from "Patricia Spitzley" <spitzlep@michigan.gov>

The Department of Environmental Quality Director Steven E. Chester
announces a public meeting to be held in Gaylord on June 25, 2003.
Director Chester and several of his key staff will be visiting
communities throughout the state of Michigan to introduce themselves and
solicit comments on environmental issues facing their community. The
Gaylord public meeting will be held at the University Center, Rooms
M103-M105, 80 Livingston Blvd., Gaylord. The event is from 6 p.m. to
7:30 p.m. and will begin with a short presentation by Director Chester
and an introduction of staff present. The program will then be opened
for an informal question and answer session.
"Conducting these outreach sessions around Michigan provides
citizens with the opportunity to meet the decision-makers of
environmental decisions in their community. It also allows them the
ability to engage in one-on-one discussions regarding environmental
issues directly affecting them and their community and get immediate
feedback," said DEQ Director Chester.
