Grants Awarded to Create and Utilize Network of

Trails, Green Spaces in Southeastern Michigan


Detroit, MI - The Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan (CFSEM) has announced the awarding of 10 grants totaling $1,133,130.  Grants were awarded for the planning and constructing of projects to connect - or lay the groundwork to link - miles of greenways in the region as part of the Community Foundation's GreenWays Initiative, a comprehensive five-year, $75 million effort aimed at expanding and enhancing the region's natural landscape.
