Please join us Wednesday, November 5 at 4:00pm for a discussion led by Dr. Harold Glasser on "Learning Our Way to a Sustainable and Desirable World: Some Ideas Inspired by Arne Naess and Deep Ecology" in 223 Natural Resources Building at MSU

Dr. Harold Glasser is an Associate Professor in Environmental Studies at Western Michigan University. His research explores how societies make choices about using and protecting the environment and how they do and might plan for making such choices in the future.  He teaches a class on the campus as a living laboratory and is Editor of the Selected Works of Arne Naess, Director of the Campus Sustainability Assessment Project, and Chair of Western Michigan Universityıs Sustainability Committee. Glasser has written on deep ecology, environmental policy, multicriteria analysis, green accounting, education for ecocultural sustainability, and campus sustainability assessment.

This talk is free and open to the public and sponsored by the MSU Office of Campus Sustainability.
