Subject: PROGRAM MONDAY
EVENING ON TOXINS AND BIRDS
At 7 pm at People's Church this coming
Monday evening, Feb 23, the Sierra Club and the Audubon Society are co-hosting
what should be a very informative presentation by Dr. Charles Mehne, a local veterinarian and field biologist.
Chuck will be focussing on Fish Lake, a
Superfund Site in Barry County, and on bald eagles, osprey, red-shouldered
hawks, and ruffed grouse in our whole area. He has been studying and monitoring
the level of toxicity in wildlife species in the Kalamazoo River watershed
since the late 1980s.
People's Church is located at 1758 North
10th Street just off the intersection of 131 and SR 43 (Main Street).
Hope to see you there!
