E-M:/ GLAHNF Spring 2004 Request for Proposals

Enviro-Mich message from "Patrick Diehl" <patmec@voyager.net>

Great Lakes Aquatic Habitat Network and Fund (GLAHNF) Spring 2004 Request
for Proposals

Since its inception in 1996, GLAHNF has recognized the importance of
grassroots groups working at the local level to protect and restore
shorelines, rivers, lakes, wetlands and other aquatic habitats by providing
financial, technical and communications support. The goal of the grants
program is to provide financial support to advocacy activities that
strengthen the role of citizens working locally to protect aquatic habitats
in the Great Lakes Basin. The Spring RFP includes guidelines for both the
Special Opportunities Grants program, which provides grants up to $500 on a
first come, first served basis and has no deadline, and the Small Grants
program, which provides grants up to $3,500 and is due March 31, 2004.

You may view the RFP, download the application and read summaries of past
grant projects online at www.glhabitat.org. To discuss a proposal idea or
obtain assistance, please contact Chris Grubb at Tip of the Mitt Watershed
Council at 231-347-1181 x 118 or e-mail chrisgrubb@watershedcouncil.org.
