The fate of what may be the first commercial hazardous waste injection well in Michigan will almost certainly be decided within the next year. Please come out to demonstrate to DEQ director Steve Chester that we need to stop this relic of the era of John Engler and Russ Harding.

The purpose of the Town Hall Meeting is to update concerned residents about the status of the project and specifically EDS’ application for its Operating License from the MDEQ, to inform residents of the continued effort to stop the EDS project and to address residents’ questions and concerns.
