East-coast'ers found a dumping ground in Mid-Michigan?
A proposed buyer of a mid-michigan landfill plans to bring in 200 to 500
tons of waste annually via rail to the little berg of Orleans in Ionia
county.

Is this large as far as landfills go? Are they (this size) dangerous to
the local ecosystems, watershed, and aquifers? A 300 acre lake, the Flat
River State Game Area is just across the street.
A chicken CAFO was recently stopped, now this. Thanks for any experience
or input.
