E-M:/ nuke incineration to increase on Lake Huron

Enviro-Mich message from kcumbow <kcumbow@greatlakes.net>

This may interest E-M readers since Michigan is directly across Lake Huron
from the Bruce incinerators, Bruce reactors, and the Western Waste
Management Facility. Also, many Michgan communities draw their water from
Lake Huron, (Flint, Detroit, Port Huron, etc.) or are downstream from Lake
Huron, and many Michigan families vacation on the beautiful Bruce
Peninsula. For access to the article from NOW Magazine (Toronto, Ontario),

BRUCE'S BURNING SECRETS
INTERNAL DOCUMENTS REVEAL NUKE MANAGERS PLAN TO UP INCINERATION OF DEADLY
WASTES
BY STEPHEN SALAFF
NOW | AUG 5 - 11, 2004 | VOL. 23 NO. 49

There's no hint in the cool summer winds blowing off Lake Huron onto the
sandy beaches of the lower Bruce Peninsula that nuclear managers have
developed plans to turn the shoreline into a vast radioactive waste
sacrifice zone.
