Postcards At Thursday Event
At 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, as
Michiganders prepare for the end-of-summer Labor Day holiday, Clean
Water
Action will deliver nearly 50,000 personally signed postcards from
supporters in 26 Michigan counties to U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow.
The postcards
ask Stabenow to send a strong message to the Bush administration that
weaker
Clean Water Act laws and Great Lakes funding cuts are
unacceptable and allow more sewage into our lakes and rivers.
