E-M:/ bad rules or simplistic rhetoric?

Enviro-Mich message from "Dave Dempsey" <davedem@hotmail.com>

Michigan's State Senate majority party has just posted a "bad rules" web page where aggrieved parties can throw a dart at their unfavorite rules.

The page says, "Studies show that federal rules cost job creators between $4,400 and $7,000 per employee each year. State regulations just add to this cost."

State regulations also save us money by protecting our health, safety and welfare but that isn't mentioned.

One person's "unnecessary and burdensome" regulation can be another's liferaft. When modern pollution controls were first proposed in the 1960s, polluters lamented their unnecessary and burdensome nature.
