Here's a good one
My neighbor called me frantic this morning because her home caught on fire from 50 year old Edison power lines that cross her property. Their home is in the Sibley Prairie Area in Brownstown Township.
The live wires were catching everything on fire including the prairie and she almost lost her home and her life.
Currently there are power trucks sunk in muck at the edge of the wetlands on the adjacent property.
The technicians said the power lines are way over capacity and a hazard, yet Brownstown Township has a proposal for 500 homes on the corner, along with at least 1000 more across the street in Taylor.
When are the local governments of Southeast Michigan going to figure out that too much development is detremental to the environment and hazardous to its residents?!!!
