Environmental, political leaders will discuss the intruders' devastating effect on the Great Lakes.
NEW BALTIMORE -- A congressional hearing will be held this week in Macomb County to delve into the serious issue of invasive marine and plant species that are threatening the Great Lakes.
The regulatory affairs subcommittee hearing on invasive species will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Anchor Bay High School, 6319 County Line Road. Two panels of national experts will lead the hearings.
