Air Pollution Alert and Analysis
MDEQ air monitoring is showing 
Port Huron PM 2.5 air pollution (probably reflecting a considerable 
portion of the St. Clair County, Sarnia, northern Macomb County 
area.....is now at PM 2.5 Code Red -  Unhealthy for everybody....
....  and has been so since late last night......

EPA's Airnow is showing Port Huron as the most PM 2.5-polluted place in 
the United States as of  10 AM.

Houghton Lake has gone Code Orange -- Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, 
although PM 2.5 concentrations have gone down in Lansing and Grand 
Rapids -- no longer in Orange territory....

....shows elevated PM 2.5 going well into Ontario, including all the way to Georgian Bay...
Note...the colors on this map are keyed to different numerical and averaging time 
standards effective in Canada (and also show US site through lens of Ontario standards).
