Join State Representative Fred Miller, Clean Water Action’s Lake St. Clair Community Organizer Christy McGillivray, and the MDEQ’s Great Lakes Director Ken DeBeausseart for a Water Town Hall Meeting!

When: Monday, December 5^th, 2005 from 7:30-9pm.

Representative Miller will discuss current the water use legislation being discussed in the state legislature, as well as other water quality issues facing our communities.

Ken DeBeausseart will discuss the Annex 2001 agreement and other water quality issues that the MDEQ is involved in.  

Christy McGillivray will discuss water diversion in Michigan and the Great Lakes Great Michigan campaign.

Other local environmental organizations involved in the Macomb Organizations Representing the Environment, MORE, roundtable have been invited to attend and will serve as a resource for those with water quality concerns.
