The focus of these workshops will be on preparing a successful application for 2006. Topics will include applicant and project eligibility, distribution of funds, preparing applications and attachments, project selection and grantee obligations. DNR staff will be available at all workshops to answer questions. The workshop is free and preregistration is not required.

Participants are encouraged to notify Grants Management if they plan to attend the workshop to ensure adequate materials are available. Participants also are encouraged to bring potential application ideas for discussion at the workshop.
The primary deadline for acquisition and development applications is April 1, 2006. Additional acquisition applications only will be accepted by Aug. 1, 2006. Grant application materials are available on the DNR Web site at www.michigan.gov/dnr-grants or by contacting Grant Management at (517) 373-9125.

The DNR is committed to the conservation, protection, management, use and enjoyment of the state's natural resources for current and future generations.
